Konstantin Batygin and Michael E. Brown had an hypothesis that Planet Nine could be the center of a huge planet that was pushed out of its orbit through Planet Jupiter when the Solar System commenced. Other ideas suggest that Planet Nine was caught from another star and was taken out into a perplexing orbit by another star. It travels through an elongated orbit of about 400 to 800 times as far as the Sun.
Of late last year, there has not been any reported observations about Planet Nine. Nonetheless, a halt in conducting surveys to prove that there is a Planet Nine is not considered an option. Further observations are in progress using 8-meter Subaru Telescope. Planet Nine remains a theory unless an observation of its characteristics and where it is situated is determined.
Another reason why the idea about Planet Nine came about, was when someone from Brazil was trying to gaze into the outer space and unexpectedly caught a strange happening at the surrounding area of the Solar System. It showed eccentric orbits created by the pull of gravity from a distant huge planet that is yet to be known and confirmed to be in existence.
Exploring the outer space for mysterious objects has been non-stop even before the time of Galileo. Many discoveries have been reported through time but there are still unrecognized constellations and galaxies. With the enormous architecture of the heavenly bodies, to understand and learn each, is a daunting task.
