The word “antichrist” has been mentioned in the bible a few times. Meaning, that character has already been existing back in the apostles’ time. Many thought that antichrist only existed decades ago when in fact, it is an ancient term. Hearing about the antichrist, sounds scary. Such that, it is being linked to a false prophet. That individual is thought by many as the Pope. But analyzing the acts of the Pope and his teachings would qualify it as antichrist. By allowing people to kneel before him or before a person is antichrist.
Jesus Christ taught the right way to pray to God the Father, but the Roman Catholics where the Pope is the head, teaches to pray the rosary where the prayer is recited in each bead. Praying to Mary instead of to God is absolutely antichrist. They believe that Mary, as the mother of Christ in flesh, can be relayed with messages intended to Jesus. The truth is, there is not a single word in the bible which commands praying to Mary and to other creations of God.
When asked if Catholics are worshipping and praying to an idol or a statue made of wood or stone, Catholics would say that they are not worshipping those. According to them, these idols are just a reminder that there is God in heaven.
The Pope allows himself to be called “Father”. In the bible, the word Father pertains to God alone, and not to the Pope. The name “Roman Catholic Church” is not biblical because in the scriptures, the name of the church is Church of God.
