It is very inevitable to link Jesus and Israel in the end times signs. The Israelites set the mark as one of the significant countries of our time. From the day they earned their freedom from slavery, they have been allowed by God to return to the promise land. But this does not mean however, that the nation Israel is what the bible pertains as the country sought by God today. There is a spiritual Israel mentioned in the scriptures. It is not to be forgotten, that the name “Israel” came from God when He changed Jacob’s name.
The main sign needed to fullfill the prophecy of the end times is the antichrist. Many religions today entice people of becoming rich once they join their churches. These churches follow tithing or the 10% offering to God. But this is not what Jesus said. There were so many rules which the Israelites disobeyed.
Although these acts were antichrist, there will be an individual to rise as a false prophet. Once he is known, Christ will come.
The false prophet will make great miracles with the help of the devil. Many will believe and people will join his group. The qualities of this antichrist is manifested in the pope. His agenda of uniting various religions is a blasphemy. Christianity has a monotheism faith or belief in one God. Once the pope succeeds in gathering the leaders of nations and agreed to listen to him, it then confirms that he is the false prophet, the much awaited antichrist.
