Judaism is the religion of the Jews in Israel. They are guided by the teachings of Torah or the first five books of Moses in the bible. It contains their ancient practices and traditions which they believe up to this day. They say they don’t believe in Jesus as the Messiah because He is not included in the Torah. Although they know that the teachings of Jesus focus on love and peace particularly loving the enemies. Some Jews describe Jesus as a good man but not the Son of God. Others identify Him as the reason why many Jews were killed in the ancient years. A Jew even stated that Jesus is nothing. A strong resistance is felt when a Jew is asked about who Jesus is to them. As if they want to ignore the question or deny an interview.

There is no other country which has numerous ancient historical information than Israel. One of the most significant facts is when the United Hebrew Kingdom was divided. Upon the death of King Solomon, the Northern Tribe of Israel did not accept Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, to become their King. This took place around 1020 to 930 BCE. The two Kingdoms were divided for 200 years. In the end, people of Israel was then called Israeli whether they are Jewish or not. The word “Jew” is from the Hebrew word, Yehudi, meaning, “from the Kingdom of Judah”.

The Jews today, believe that their Messiah is coming soon and that Jesus Christ is not the described Messiah in the Torah.
